The Asylum

The Asylum is a 2.5D Adventure Game in German, taking place in the 1930s. It combines a sad and dark atmosphere with humoristic elements. It was built by 4 students at the Games Academy Frankfurt over a span of 3 months in 2017, using the Unity 5 Engine.

Can you solve the puzzles on 2 levels to escape the Asylum before your lobotomy takes place?

How to play with Gamepad (recommended)

• Move the player character with left joystick
• Interact with objects and NPCs through the buttons A, X, B (the buttons above the right joystick)
• Close any interaction with button A
• Change numbers on locks with D-Pad (the pad below the left joystick)
• Close the game with ALT + F4

How to play with Keyboard

• Move the player character with W, A, S, D
• Interact with objects and NPCs through the keys 1, 2, 3 (the keys above Q, W, E)
• Close any interaction with key 1
• Change numbers on locks with right arrow keys (keys below the delete key)
• Close the game with ALT + F4
